Update Member Broker

Update Member Broker

Purpose

Use this procedure to update or correct a Member Broker (main office) account. 

Process

Click on the HMS icon, select CCM Search.

 

 

Search for the Broker
  1. Conduct a search using the Broker Number using the Search Icon
    1.  If the broker number is not available, search using one option at a time in the order below
      1. Main office telephone number
      2.  Main office name
      3. Main office address
      4. Broker Name


Document the Change
  1. Select the Comments tab
  2. Copy the original data (i.e., address, phone number, etc.), and paste it in the Comments field
  3. Enter a clear explanation of the change in the Comments field - include your initials.
    1. Example: Per email from AE Katie, changed from 123 ABC Dr to 123 DEF Ct – J. Smith.


Update Information and Save
  1. Enter the new or corrected information
  2. Save changes
