ServiceBench Multi-Item Pop
The Multi-Item Pop was created to assist with assigning a Service Professional when processing multi-item service jobs. If a service job was created today and is in a New or Accepted status, if another job is created in the same day within the same trade, the Multi-Item Pop will display when you select the Find Service button.
Process
There will be three scenarios to select from when the Multi-Item pop appears.
- Assign to the same Service Provider
- Assign to a different Service Provider
- This Job is not a multi-item service job
Assign to the same Service Provider
When you select this scenario and submit, the system will systematically assign this job to the original service provider selected on the first job. In conjunction, the Event Type will update to Multi-Item and will be reserved for the same date and time as the original service job.
Assign to different Service Provider
When you choose this scenario, the system will assign to a different service provider, but will still update the Event Type to Multi-Item. The user will be prompted to go through the normal service provider selection workflow to assign a service provider and select a date/time slot. This can be utilized when the original SP does not work on a specific type or brand in the specified trade.
This job is not a multi-item service job
Selecting this option will take the user through the normal service job creation workflow as if the multi-item functionality didn’t exist. The Event Type will stay “Standard”.
