Handyman Reimbursement Benefit

Starting May 13, 2025, the Handyman Reimbursement offer will be available to new Progressive Insurance customers.
The plan will include a 30-day review period; claims should not begin processing before June 12. 
Customers will receive one reimbursement for Professional Handyman Services completed for the covered property up to $100 (excludes covered warranty work).

AlertIf the total paid invoice received is less than the maximum amount, the customer will only receive a reimbursement for the amount paid.
Examples of Non-Warranty Home Services Covered by the Handyman Benefit
  1. Repairs
  2. Installation
  3. Upgrades
  4. Painting
  5. Maintenance (systems or appliances)
  6. Exterior maintenance
  7. Yard maintenance
  8. Cleaning Services
Exclusions
  1. This offer CANNOT be used for repairs covered by the home warranty. For those repairs, a service request must be submitted.
  2. This offer CANNOT  be used for non-covered costs related to a covered repair/replacement. See Premier Upgrade Package (PUP).
  3. Excluded States: AZ, IA, MA, TX, and WA

Instructions Script & Reimbursement Process

  1. Hire a Professional Handyman to complete the job. (excludes covered warranty work).

  2. Pay the Professional Handyman directly and request an invoice that includes: 
    1. Handyman company letterhead (logo), name, address, and phone number.
    2. Address where the services were provided. (must match the covered property address).
    3. Description of services rendered.
    4. Invoice marked "Paid". (DO NOT send in a cancelled check or credit card statement.)

  3. Write your Cinch Home Services Contract/Plan number and phone number on your invoice and submit to one of the following:
    1. Email: SupportServices@cinchhs.com
    2. Fax: (954) 845-2280
    3. Mail: Cinch Home Service 
      Attn: Handyman Reimbursement

  4. Send your completed documentation for reimbursement review within 90 days of the warranty's effective date.
  5. Upon approval, allow 14 days for receipt of your reimbursement check via USPS.
