MyAccount: Customer Registration

If speaking to a customer that has not registered for MyAccount yet, be sure to give them the contract specific URL so they are able to register.
  1. Cinch Warranties: https://my.cinchhomeservices.com

If customer requests assistance registering, walk them through the process following these steps:
  1. Once the customer is on the landing page, advise them to select 'Register for an account'.
  2. Advise customer to select Yes on the 'Do you have a Cinch protection plan' screen.
    NOTE: This page may be removed in the future.
  3. Advise customer to enter their email address in the Email Address field and the Confirm Email Address field, then click Submit.
    NOTE: This email address will be their username when logging in once account is created.
  4. The next page will give the customer 3 options to lookup their plan. Advise customer to select one of these options, then click Next.
  5. Depending on what option the customer selected, they will need to fill out the required information for that selection, then click Next.
  6. Any covered properties connected to the phone number, plan number, or house number entered will be listed under Covered Property. Customer should make sure address matches and select their property, then click Next.
    NOTE: If customer has more than one warranty (i.e. Home Warranty and Surge Protect), they will see multiple selections under their address. They will only select one for now but can link the others once account is created.
  7. The confirmation screen will display. Advise customer to verify all information is correct, then click Submit.
  8. The customer will now be asked to create a password. Advise customer to follow the password requirements to create a password, then click Create your account.
  9. Customer will be advised to check their email for the verification email.

  10. Advise customer to check email box for an email from 'noreply@cinchhs.com'. The subject line will start with 'Verify your email'. Customer will need to open the email and click Confirm my account.
  11. Customer will be directed back to the original landing page which will show the email was verified. Advise customer to click Log In.
  12. Advise customer to log in using their email address and the password they created, then click Log In.
  13. Customers account page will open. They will now have access to their plan details and much more!
