What does the warranty cover/cost?

Mr./Ms. _____ I’ll be happy to explain the benefits of the warranty.  The warranty covers mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns of your major systems like plumbing, electrical, heating and A/C system, as well as your kitchen and laundry appliances.

 

The total cost of the warranty is $ <amount> for one year of coverage, with a $ <amount> deductible per claim.  Once the enrollment is complete, you will receive your warranty agreement package within 7-10 business days, outlining your complete coverage.

 

All I will need to do is gather some basic information and we can get your warranty started today.

Mr./Ms. _____, the life expectancy of most appliances is about 5 years. Most appliances start to experience mechanical failure within that time frame. We know that the average repair cost for most appliances is about $350.00.

Will I be responsible for more than my deductible?

Mr./Ms._____ you are responsible for the first $ <deductible amount> of a covered repair or replacement.  Once you have met the deductible amount, the warranty will cover the remaining charges or replacement for all covered malfunctions.

Mr./Ms. _____ I can understand that you would like to wait/don’t feel you need the extra coverage.  

 

As a reminder, you have 30 days from the effective date to add options/additions to your warranty.   This will cover all your major appliances and systems within your home to ensure full protection against costly out pocket expenses.

 

 

 

Is there a limit to the number of times I can use the service?

Mr./Ms. _____ as a benefit of the warranty, there are no limits to the number of times you can use the service during the coverage period.

Is the warranty renewable?

Mr./Ms. _____ as a benefit of the warranty you may renewal the contract on an annual basis.  To ensure continuous coverage, we will remind you a few months prior to your expiration date.

What should I do if a need a repair or service?

Mr./Ms._____ as a benefit of the warranty our Claims Department is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays.  Simply call 1-800-432-1033 and explain the problem to one of our Customer Service Specialists, and they will be happy to assist you.

Is there anything you don't cover?

Anything outside of mechanical failure and the items not listed as covered in you warranty agreement such as:

 

·       Structural damage to the property

·       Home entertainment systems

·       Personal property (clothing, furniture, jewelry, etc.)

·       Routine care and maintenance

Some of these items are usually covered under your homeowner’s insurance policy.  With the combined coverage of the home warranty and your homeowner’s insurance policy, your home will be completely protected.

 

To ensure protection against costly repairs, I can go ahead and process your enrollment.

 

 

 

The renewal cost of the warranty is too expensive.

Since you are a valued customer, I can offer our 3-installment plan.  The annual premium will be billed to you in 3 monthly installments.  You will need to pay $ <amount> today.  

 

Your next installment will be due 30 days from today, and your last installment will be due 90 days from today.  The last two installments include a $5.00 processing fee.

 

To ensure protection against costly repairs, I can go ahead and process your renewal at this time.
