Cinch Real Estate Inbound Reinstate Contract Process

Purpose:

This process is used when an expired or cancelled contract needs to be reinstated.

Guidelines:

  1. Only the AUTHORIZED user can request reinstatement.
  2. BEFORE reinstating, the account must be PAID UP TO DATE.

Business Rules:

  1. Contract can be reinstated WITHIN 30 DAYS without an inactive period.
  2. IF the contract is OUTSIDE of 30 days from the effective date but WITHIN 90 days, THEN reinstate the contract with a 30-day inactive period.
  3. IF the contract has been inactive for MORE THAN 90 days, THEN management approval is required.
    1. Contact a member of management or send an email to servicecenter@cinchhs.com
The account will AUTOMATICALLY BE REINSTATED by the end of the business day unless one or more of the following is true: 
  1. The warranty has already been canceled.
  2. The payment is received after 2:55 p.m. EST on the LAST business day before cancellation.
  3. The Cancel Reason is not listed in the Cancellation Reason Code table.
IF any of these conditions apply, THEN the warranty must be MANUALLY REINSTATED.

Reinstatement Process:

  1. Click the Menu Options tab, then select Reinstate Contract.



  2. Enter Reinstatement Date and click Save.
