Cinch - Point of Need is a unique program that offers savings to customers and protects their budget.

This program gives customers 50% off their initial repair (up to $200) when they sign up for a warranty program for a year. 

Service Providers elect to participate in promoting the sale of the Cinch (PON) Products.  


Technicians offer the program to customers during a non-warranty service call, including a promotional discount of 50% off the total retail repair cost, up to $400 (maximum discount up to $200).  

The discount applied to the retail cost of the repair is reimbursed to the Service Provider within 5 days of the customer's enrollment.




The Cinch - PON program is a win-win for service providers, technicians and customers by promoting repeat business.  

Service providers, servicing PEACH trades, who enroll a customer in a Cinch PON plan will have the first right of refusal for all future warranty jobs for those customers.

  7. $200 Reward Card if no claim is placed during the first year of coverage and they renew the warranty

Cinch Complete Home - PON Enrollment

The technician will confirm that the customer does not have an active home warranty and explain the details of the Complete Home Cinch - PON plan. 

Upon agreement to enroll in the program, the customer will pay the total cost of the repair (minus the 50% discount up to $200) to the technician.
The customer will also pay the 1st month's premium for the Complete Home warranty or the total premium cost for 12 months of coverage during their online enrollment.
Customers must keep their warranty for one year or they will be charged for the original 50% savings upon cancellation.

The technician will present a QR code or provide a url to the customer for self-enrollment into the Cinch warranty.



Cinch Complete Home - PON Cancellation Process

If you are unable to save a Cinch (PON) customer, their warranty can be cancelled using the current procedure.

When a customer cancels less than 1 year from their enrollment date, the refund calculator will display the amount to be collected from the customer in the Service Call Fee for Early Cancellation field.
  1. The discounted repair rate from the retail job will be charged back to the customer.
  2. If Cinch paid out claims during the first 12 months, lesser of the two would apply and will be collected.
  3. When a customer cancels after 1 year from the enrollment date, the refund calculator will not have an amount in this field.
When a customer has made payments (paid ahead 30 days), they are due a refund on premiums paid (the calculation includes a $25 cancellation fee).  The Refund Calculator will display the refund amount in the Refund Quote field.

When a customer has an open service request and is cancelling their contract, the Refund Calculator will display the adjustment amount in the To Be Collected field. The system will calculate the amount to be processed to include:
  1. Cancellation fee of $25
  2. Adjustments and/or a service call fee as applicable.
