Acquisition Fee and Process
Definition:
Acquisition fees are service or administrative fees paid to the real estate company when a warranty is purchased. These fees can be paid upfront by the buyer or lessee, or added to the loan and paid over time. Cinch pays the acquisition fee directly to the broker. The broker then pays the agent, if applicable. Payment is issued 30 days after the warranty has been paid.
The Standard fee is $60.
Process
If an agent or broker calls to inquire about their
service fee, acquisition fee, $60 fee, etc. advise we do
not have access to that information and refer the agent to their AE.
State Exclusions
AZ, CA, IA, NE, NM, NV, TX are
NOT eligible for the service/acquisition fee.
