Acquisition Fee

Acquisition fees refer to service or administration fees paid to the real estate company for purchase of warranties. Acquisition fees may be paid up front by the buyer or lessee or added to the loan amount and paid over the term of the loan.  

Cinch pays acquisition fees directly to the broker and the broker submits payment to the agent, when applicable.  The fee is sent 30 days after the warranty is paid for.

 

Process

This process is conducted when an agent or broker calls to inquire about their service fee, acquisition fee, $60 fee, etc.  The Standard fee is $60.  If an agent calls in inquiring about the acquisition fee, advice we do not have access to that information and refer the agent to their AE.

 

AZ, CA, IA, NE, NM, NV, TX are NOT eligible for the service/acquisition fee.
